My partner and I traveled to Nepal with the idea of having a great trekking adventure seeking for the best views whilst keeping an eye on safety. We had a good recommendation for Pasang and Keshab from Manikang and decided that we would put ourselves in their hands for this adventure. Clearly the best choice we could have made. This is a small company led by local, hard-working entrepreneurs and they got our backs at all times. From the organisation regarding pick-up, transport, etc. to sorting out the impossible when one of us needed some meds while trekking. They managed all situations with great professionalism. Pasang, our guide is a great, young and clever entrepreneur whilst Keshab, our porter, has the experience and a deep knowledge of the mountains (and a super-human strength!). Besides, they are both very discreet and have a great sense of humour so we had a great time!
We planned on doing ABC trek and finally did Mardi Himal based on wise safety recommendations from them, and had the best experience ever.

Hello! We are a couple from Barcelona, we have returned three months ago from a trek in Mardi Himal with Manikang Nepal, Passan as our guide and Keshab as our porter.
Before arriving in Kathmandu, we already had established our route with Passan via email, he resolved all our doubts, and he advised us on our itinerary. When we arrived in Kathmandu, he came to pick us up to take us to our hotel, he had to wait more than two hours at the airport and even then he greeted us with a smile and took us to dinner! The next day, punctual, we had waiting for us Keshab, Passan and a private car with an experienced driver to move us to Pokhara. I have to say that the car was one of the best we saw on the road to Pokhara. The trek was perfectly organized, if we had to improvise due to inclement weather they solved it without problem. I even had a problem with salute, nothing serious, but I did not have the right medication, and Passan contacted a pharmacy to get us, on horseback, the medicine I needed, because we were in remote village of the trek. We arrived at the Mardi Himal View Point without any mishap, the Tea Houses always reserved in advance, the meals always ready, and our team always ready to help us with everything, even to take away the leeches that were tricked us along the way! I must say that luckily Keshab and Pasan took away the three that I had together in my pants, I could only scream!!! We arrived in Pokhara by private car, and the next day there was a vague Maoist in Kathmandu. Passan warned us and advised us to stay one more day in Pokhara for our safety, he was contacting us to make sure everything was fine. When we finally arrived in Kathmandu, he took us to dinner at a typical Nepalese restaurant to say goodbye.
We are very grateful to Passan and the Superman of Keshab (he is really strong and charming!), for their support in our trip, his concern for our safety, and his professionalism. Also for the good times we spent together drinking a beer and playing cards when we finished the trek. People like them are worth winning in their business and that this is prosperous.
If Manikang Nepal, Pasan and Keshab read this post, I want to send a huge hug to both of you, I hope to see you in the future.

I have known Pasang and Tenzing since the start of 2015. Prior to that I’d used several other trekking companies in Nepal and none of them were as caring and knowledgeable.

Nothing is quite like arriving at Kathmandu Airport late at night, after a long flight, and being greeted by the familiar smiling faces of Pasang and Tenzing.

Prior to leaving home, having trekked some of the more travelled trails, I asked Pasang for his recommendations for a short trek (as I had time constraints) which was easily accessible from Pokhara and was less travelled.

With Pasang’s vast experience he was able to suggest the community managed eco-Trail from Galeshwor - Mohare Danda -Ghode Pani, a comfortable six day walk with magnificent scenery where we passed only three other trekking groups.

Guide Tenzing and Master Chef Jagat provided invaluable help when we encountered waist deep late season snow drifts near Mohare Danda( 3300 m).

We then linked up with the more well trekked route of Tadapani -Chomrong - Dhampus where the Modi River Valley provided further spectacular scenery.

On the drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu, we stayed overnight at the hilltop village of Bandipur where the preserved typical Nepali architecture of the buildings has maintained the old world charm and well worth visiting.
I would highly recommend Manikang Nepal Treks and Adventure and look forward to planning my next adventure with them.

I went with a group to Everest Base Camp/Gokyo Lakes in April. Manikang Nepal Treks and Adventure was helpful for the 3 months before the trip, providing packing lists and assisting with traveling tips. Upon arrival, the owner went through our gear with each us, making sure we had the appropriate clothing and gear we would need. During the trip, we were provided with a knowledgeable, professional and all around great guide. The trip was all that I hoped it would be and more than I expected! I can't wait to go again and I will definitely use Manikang Nepal Treks and Adventure when I do!

Last month me and 8 friends hiked 14 days in the Himalayas.. Manikangs friendly staff is top notch! They help you with anything you need to know before you go. The guide was extremely knowledgable with certain types of routes to take to even ordering and servicing you food in the teahouses. 100% recommend going with Manikang. You wont be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time and overall good experience in our experience of the Everest region with Manikang. We had some unexpected travel delays and Tenzing was able to adapt our trek to give us a good trip despite the challenge of a 3 day delay of our arrival in Nepal. He was able to get us in on a 7am flight into Lukla at short notice and connected us with Lapka, our trekking guide. Manikang Treks checked in with us several times during our trek to be sure we were being taken care of and having a good time. They even arranged an earlier flight out of Lukla so we didn’t have to stress missing our international flight due to uncertain Lukla weather. They genuinely care for their clients and want to make the best trip for them as they are able.

I recently took a group of 9 out to Nepal and we hiked the Everest Base Camp/Gokyo Lakes route (Including Kalapattar, Gokyo Ri) in 14 days with Manikang Treks. First off, when we got to the airport Tenzing and his associate were waiting for us and they provided airport pick up and drop off and booked a hotel for us upon arrival. We drove to the Manikang office in Kathmandu, paid our remaining money owed for Lukla flights, and then Manikang provided transportation to and from Ramecchap, where we flew to Lukla to start the hike for very reasonable prices. We met our guide in Lukla, and he was very knowledgeable about the route, he knew many people at the tea houses, which he booked for us, and he provided excellent customer service for us on our 14 day adventure. (He waited on us during our meals, provided help on the trail, and acted like a good friend.) I highly suggest Manikang treks. Tenzing and Jomba (our guide), were very helpful and the company provides very reasonable prices and the company booked our Lukla flights for us, which provided us better flights then we would have gotten ourselves. Be sure to tip the guide, which costs can very for that but overall the value was excellent.

I chose to use the services of Manikang Treks because I had known Pasang, one of the Partners in the company for some years and knew him to have integrity and experience. He recommended the Mardi Himal Trek, which I had not done before and proved to be a great choice as I only wanted a 10 day trek that still provided challenge and fantastic mountain views. The guide provided for me was excellent; he was knowledgeable and extremely attentive to my needs, ensuring that I was safe and comfortable at all times. He also had a great sense of humour and would have everyone laughing along with him. He also new the trek well and the accommodation along the route. I could not have received better service or enjoyed myself more. I highly recommend Manikang Treks for their attention to detail, their desire to ensure the client is happy and well catered for, and their overall efficiency. Well done to Pasang, Tenzing and the team. With regard to the additional questions provided in this review by tripadvisor they are really not relevant to trekking so don't take too much notice of them.

Pasang arranged a trek for my husband and I booking the flights internally and accommodation .
Pasang also came with us as well as a guide Keshab.
Everything went well and Pasang was very knowledgeable and helpful -also encouraging as we had not done anything like this before!!
The accommodation was basic but we knew that beforehand and Pasang had also told us everything we might need for the trek.
All together a very good time with great memories.
