Pasang arranged a trek for my husband and I booking the flights internally and accommodation .
Pasang also came with us as well as a guide Keshab.
Everything went well and Pasang was very knowledgeable and helpful -also encouraging as we had not done anything like this before!!
The accommodation was basic but we knew that beforehand and Pasang had also told us everything we might need for the trek.
All together a very good time with great memories.

I completed a short walk along the Tamang Trail organised through Manikang NT&A.
Things leading up to to my arrival in Nepal chopped and changed as I tried to work out was reasonable in a relatively short trip. Pasang was very patient as worked through possibilities.
Lakpa, the porter guide was an absolute delight to spend time with and extrodinarily attentive at the end of the days walk ensuring the service in the lodge was good quality. Considering there was no one else on the trail, so I got more or less all the attention at the lodge, spoke volumes of Lakpa's sense of pride in his work not matter what.
Further, that Pasang has a guide like Lakpa on his books suggests he knows his stuff. Also, this was all organised at a reasonable price, including the private jeep ride to the trail head and back.
My walk was cut short by few days as the descents were hard on over used knees. On the upside, I got to the major areas of interest and had the added bonus of a snow storm followed by a beautiful day's walk up to Taruche in fresh snow under blue skies with wondrous views.
My next trek will need to be well thought out in terms of descents and trail conditions....some are regular and smoother and so less twisting on the knees down hill...but I will not hesitate in contacting Manikang to help organise it. This was my 7 trek in Nepal, on my 11th visit over 33 years.

I did the above trek with Manikang Treks as a solo trekker in December 2018 and received excellent service from them and from Pasang in particular. We communicated prior to my arrival in Nepal and I informed him of my preferred trekking style. All logistics were efficiently arranged and Pasang went beyond the call of duty by meeting me at my hotel at 5am to ensure that I boarded the bus safely with my guide to commence my trek. He called me regularly during the trek for an update and to ensure that I was satisfied with the guide, food and lodges.

Based on a short text brief Pasang chose the perfect trek for us, not too hard, not too easy, just the right amount of time, and the kind of Himalayan experience we were hoping for: varied scenery, spectacular views, deep forests, wonderful villages. Ram, our guide, was experienced, well known and liked throughout the trail, making our stays hassle-free and more luxurious than we anticipated. Thank you Manikang for an excellent trip! This trek is a must if you are visiting Nepal. Tenzing was very professional to work with, and you feel he is like more of a friend than someone who is hired to be there. I would highly recommend Manikang.

I highly, highly recommend Manikang if you are seriously planning a trek or adventure in Nepal. Even if you are not on a trek, i would recommend you visit their office in Kathmandu just to meet some great people. and then probably just go on a trek already. Tenzing and Pasang go above and beyond at every turn and made my trek to Everest base-camp stress-free and incredibly enjoyable!

Tenzing is the best guide you could ask for. I don't know how he's acclimated his contacts, but whenever there was an issue with the trip, he made a call and it was resolved shortly. His client's safety and happiness is his number one concern. I would highly recommend him.

When my original trek in India was canceled, I only had a few weeks to organize an alternate trip. My planned trekking pals did not want to join me in another trek...what to do??? Getting on Trip Advisor to explore alternatives resulted in an amazing adventure. Thank you to all of you that contribute to these forums! Pasang was recommenced and I signed up! I was taken care of wonderfully, was always safe, learned a lot about local culture and all of my questions were answered. My guide supported my fitness level and we were able to do a bonus side trip that usually takes three more days to complete. I’m very pleased with Manikang and highly recommend them. Thank you Pasang, Nima and Temba!!!

Had a blast, got there safely and made new friends, couldn't ask for more. Ill miss the Himalayas. Love y'all!
