Located just 3 to 4 hours’ drive away from Kathmandu, the put-in point of Trishuli White Water rafting is an ideal destination for adventure seekers who are short of time. From Charaudi, the rafting adventure makes a surreal turn heading downstream between majestic hills and lush forests. The two-day experience in Trishuli comprises of rafting 15-60km depending upon the adventure you signed up for. Rafting at Trishuli includes small gorges, glimpses of the cable car that leads to Manakamana and beautiful sceneries around. The currents are straightforward, and well-spaced out. The rafting here is an excellent experience for beginners because of the lack of huge rapids. However, the monsoon brings in faster rapids in the Trishuli River. The intensity of the monsoon rapids attracts a different set of rafters.
